Key Responsibilities: –

The purpose of this role is to secure an efficient and quality assured End to End (E2E) distribution process for finished goods vehicle including long- and short-term capacity planning and to drive global development of E2E distribution process. Mange the Stockyard with overall controlling of Ageing process. 

     I.        To manage independently complete outbound logistics & dispatch operations of domestics/export

    II.        Manage Transporters and build capacity for transportation as per the plan

  III.        Manage & maintain freight agreements/contracts for transportation and logistics services

  IV.        To manage service providers for efficient logistics operations

    V.        To set right systems and process for documentation, ERP and MIS activities – invoicing, freight bill processing, insurance claim process, E-way bill generation, taxation, and compliance etc.

  VI.        To have sound understanding of state level transport document requirement and statutory compliance

 VII.        To manage stockyards – FG Inventory, safe & optimum parking of vehicles and equipments

VIII.        Ensure proper PDI & packaging of shipment

  IX.        Ensure timely and error-free execution of documents

    X.        Ensure stockyard is working as per defined process & required infrastructural needs are fulfilled

  XI.        To control freight cost and improve on-time dispatch & delivery, quality and safety parameters

 XII.        To engage with stakeholders – transporters, dealers, sales & regional office, production and Quality

XIII.        Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to track success and/or recurring problems

XIV.        Develop processes that enable zero quality defects, share containment & planned corrective actions

 XV.        Drive digital projects in TL as per roadmap

XVI.        Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

XVII.        Participate in LSP Techno commercial evaluation & 3PL Management

XVIII.        Prepare & maintain annual/monthly provision tracker and timely MIS reports

XIX.        Preparation of budget and forecast 

 XX.        Monthly KPI review with LSP

XXI.        Claims Management and reverse logistics

XXII.        Driving logistics cost reduction projects 

Education/Qualifications: 

·      Diploma/BE (Mechanical) or MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Materials management is preferable

Essential experience and skills:

1.     8 to 10 years of experience in Automotive/Agricultural/Construction industry preferred

2.     Strong knowledge of routines and working methods within Outbound Logistics

3.     Very good skills to lead and plan operations

4.     Logistics knowledge: transport, customs, export, warehousing, distribution, packaging, etc

5.     Knowledge of Value chain, Manufacturing System, IT systems interaction, production planning

6.     Fluent in English, any other language is beneficial

7.     Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration & presentation skills

8.     Positive attitude to problem solving & teamwork

9.     Ability to lead transport logistics function in regional & global forum

10.  Project Management and Strong analytical skill

11.  Good in budgeting and Vendor Management

12.  Able to work independently anywhere & in any circumstances

15.  MS Office, especially Excel, Teams & PPT 

16.  Knowledge of Microsoft power apps, SAP system is a plus
