Job Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic security leader to serve as the Head of Security for North America. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and resilience of our manufacturing operations across both union and union-free facilities. The successful candidate will oversee physical security, crisis management, and risk mitigation strategies across a diverse portfolio of sites, including production plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices.  Join us in shaping a secure and resilient future for our North American operations.  Apply today to lead security across a dynamic and essential manufacturing network.

This position is a full-time onsite position located in Racine, WI.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy tailored to the unique needs of manufacturing environments, including unionized and non-unionized facilities
  • Lead and mentor a regional team of security professionals and manage third-party security providers
  • Oversee physical security systems, access control, surveillance, and incident response protocols
  • Collaborate with plant leadership, HR, Legal, and Labor Relations to ensure consistent and compliant security practices across all sites
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
  • Lead crisis management and emergency response planning, including drills and training
  • Monitor regional threat landscapes and regulatory developments to proactively address emerging risks
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DHS, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations
  • Represent the region in global security forums and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or industrial security, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing security operations in both unionized and non-unionized manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labor relations, workplace violence prevention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in Security Operations will be considered as having met the educational equivalency requirement in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Police Academy graduates with at least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or industrial security will also be considered as meeting the educational equivalency requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
  • Preferred Certifications: CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $111,750.00 – $171,350.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected annual salary range for this position is [$111,750 – $171,350] actual compensation will depend on your experience and skills, with most offers expected to fall within the middle of this range.
