Job Purpose
The Regional Product Quality Manager for Tractors and Crop Production is responsible for product quality and solution implementation within NA region on assigned product ranges. This role supports and coordinates with Global Product Platforms (GPP), Global Quality Leaders and Brand Management to improve customer driven solutions to regional product issues. By tracking product performance in the field, you will identify key technical issues to be resolved, drive the root cause analysis and resolution process in conjunction with the Current Product Management team, reducing the time to identify and define current product issues and manage containment actions. You will provide the voice of customer input into Current Product Management process, defining customer acceptance criteria based on regional needs for new products.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and grow regional field quality and customer experience team.
• Remove inefficiencies in quality problem solving process to provide customers with fast and robust solutions.
• Reduce the time to identify current product issues and improve root cause analysis to support overall reduction in CPM Time to fix, and solution effectiveness.
• Manage the identification and validation of containment actions for key product issues.
• Understand the local market requirements and provide the Voice of the Customer to correctly prioritize field Quality & Reliability issues during Early Warning and Current Product Management (CPM) activities, including fleet monitoring and telematics inputs.
• PIP (Product Improvement Program) Management- identification and proposal for region management financial approval, cycle time from submission to dealer release.
• CORF Warranty- managing $ACPU & R/100 according to budget and strategic business plan.
• OK to Sell approval for new products launched into the region.
• Region management of Early Warning activities for New Product Launches- validation, concern resolution.
• Responsible for management, interaction, and regular communication with the Region Brand organizations (Brand Field Service Teams, Dealer Advisory Councils and meetings) on Top Product Issues & CPM worklists.
• Manage the voice and promotion of the company’s customer driven image in all Service Communication to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Responsible for Product Quality results on Dealer Satisfaction Survey and the internal and external activities utilized to drive change in survey results.
Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years experience in quality methodology, technical problem solving in agriculture manufacturing or related industry
• 2+ years experience formally or informally leading a team or project
• Ability to travel up to 25% with the majority being in US & Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Products, especially Excel
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $134,000 – $196,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
