Job Purpose
The candidate will work within a team, he/she should be able to organize the workflow, plan the activities according with the deadline agreed with stakeholders and budget availability. Main responsibility is the release of Real time Plant model to perform simulations & test before the availability of the machine with final scope to save time and costs on physical prototypes, propose solutions that improves the performances. Collaborate with team PEPD, Innovation, Brand, Platform & Product Engineering to define KPIs.
All Real time vehicle plant models must to close the loop with control strategy to support software development and testing in all V cycle phases, including the dynamic simulator.
Key Responsibilities
He/she must be familiar with Hydraulic, mechanical and electronics systems specifications, should have the capability to evaluate different electric/electronic concept to improve/replace the current architectures, evaluate a what if analysis with different electronic component and update hydraulic/mechanical system.
The candidate should be able to develop high fidelity models: single components, systems or complete vehicle for AG and CE Segments; to evaluate/improve the performance of standard system and complete vehicle.
Develop the complete list of maneuvers necessary to virtually validate each Tractor, combine, balers, forage harvester vehicles, in order to reduce time and cost on Global Product Development and confirm performances and targets achieving.
Experience Required
- Automation, Information, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience
- knowledge of Product Development for Tractor, Construction, combine, balers, forage harvester vehicles segments
- Deep knowledge of the mechanical systems; Engine; Driveline; vehicle dynamics; Electric and Electronic system; Hydraulic system; control unit and Software logic
- Familiar with modeling tools, such as Simulink and AMeSim, ANSYS toolchain
- Knolwdge of dynamic simulator environment
- Excellent English language
