Job Purpose
Perform inspection and testing functions on machines and equipment in the production area to ensure conformance of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate equipment to accuracy within allowable tolerances.
- Establish and track calibration requirements to industry certifications.
- Maintain current calibration certifications.
- Gather measurement standards, manuals, and required records.
- Determine allowable tolerances according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Identify needs for machine maintenance.
- Coordinates calibration schedule.
- Participate in production improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent training in related technical field.
