Job Purpose
Regional Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the after-sales service operations for the state . The role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while leading a team of service managers, technicians, and support staff .To lead the service operations across the state and ensure customer satisfaction by implementing effective service strategies, driving service revenue, ensuring availability of genuine spare parts, managing service teams, and supporting dealer workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and timely service delivery across all dealer workshops and service points in the state.
- Monitor workshop performance through KPIs like turnaround time (TAT), first-time fix rate, and repeat repairs.
- Guide and support dealer service operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of dealer workshops.
- Improve Net Promotor Score ( NPS) across the state.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints and implement preventive measures.
- Initiate customer engagement programs such as free service camps, mega check-up camps, and loyalty programs.
- Drive performance and skill development initiatives for the team.
- Lead, mentor, and train the field service team (Territory Service Managers / Engineers).
- Manage warranty administration and ensure timely settlement of claims.
- Provide technical guidance and escalate critical issues to the central technical team.
- Organize technical training sessions for dealer technicians and in-house service staff.
Experience Required
10–15 years of experience in after-sales service, preferably in the tractor or agricultural machinery sector, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Agriculture / Automobile Engineering
