We are currently seeking a Senior Materials Analyst to join our Wichita team. The main function of this role is to support Wichita materials flow and expediting material from the company’s supply base. The Materials Planner is responsible for supplier communications and follow-up activities to ensure a smooth supply of parts. In this role, you will support and interact directly with suppliers as well as with receiving, consolidation, and transportation partners regarding the plants’ material requirements and instructions. You will use the CNH Industrial Supplier Portal, SharePoint, Excel-based tools, and data analytics tools to evaluate plants’ material requirements and minimum needs. You will be responsible for collecting and following up on shipping promises and resolving order exceptions, as well as detecting any risks to production plans.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers.
- Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials and purchasing, production and engineering.
- Complies data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials and requirements.
- Is responsible for the flow of materials, parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking physical inventory.
- Develops specifications for new contract orders.
- Other related duties as assigned.
The annual salary for this role is $63,000 – $84,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 3 years or more of material experience
