Role Purpose:
Hydraulics Design of construction equipment –
To meet requirements of hydraulic core competency as per specifications defined for projects/machines by marketing and other stakeholders.
Major Accountabilities:
Primary and Secondary duties:
To perform Global Product Development (GPD) activities as per planned milestones within the stipulated timeline.
To address and resolve Current Product issues (CPM) as per planned milestones and time frame.
To propose suggestions for Cost Reduction Tasks (CRT) and work on them as per planned milestones and time frame.
To come up with improvements and innovative solutions for new and current machines.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s):
Education/Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).
M.Tech (Preferred)
Experience : 12-17 years
Age : 32-37 years
Essential experience and skills:
· Knowledge of applicable standards, calculation at vehicle level for component sizing, selection, and design of hydrostatic drives, valves, pump, plumbing routing & brackets.
· Ability to interpret results from FEA, Knowledge of using hydraulic simulation tools is preferred
· CREO 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting
· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Principles, DFMEA & Visual Mock-up basic knowledge
· Understanding of tools used for Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
· Application knowledge of PLM Tools (e.g. Teamcenter & Enovia)
· Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
· Good presentation skills
Key Internal and External Relationships:
Internal: Product Validation, Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Quality, Purchase, Service
External: External customer, Vendors, Contract Employees
Major Activities:
· Selection and sizing of Hydraulics components for construction equipment like Skid Steer Loader, Loader Backhoe, Excavator, Vibratory Compactor
· Perform calculations, make hydraulic schematics, conduct simulation
· Integrations of Hydraulic parts in the equipment layout
· Hydraulic related plumbing design and routing on CAD software and 2D drawing preparation
· PIR resolution, DFMEA , test requests and design documentation
· Resolve internal and external customer complaints, conduct field visits whenever necessary

these designs are put into use and are going to be rolled out to our customers.

ground. It’s a great way to take interest in connectivity and mobile apps, artificial intelligence, and
computer vision, these things that we see in other industries, in automotive, even in the gaming industry,
and others and how to– can actually bring those interests and those passions and those skills and use it
