PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To performs FEA Analysis for Heavy / off highway vehicles. Expectation is to perform simulations independently using FEA tools with strong mechanical technical background. Theoretical calculations to identify and mitigate risk through design recommendation. Also, as an Interface with the product design team to discuss technical input for the simulations, failure modes. Having manufacturing background knowledge is preferable.
Highly Proficient in Hypermesh, Abaqus, Ncode & Optistruct & FEA concepts
The selected candidate will support design development at multiple phases from concept phase until design release, interacting with global and cross functional teams. To ensure durability and structural functionality of components / systems through FEA simulations, hand calculation & correlation for developing an optimal design.
COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 7+ years of professional industry experience in Heavy Vehicle / Agricultural equipment / automotive / aerospace industry
· Master, B.E preferably in mechanical engineering, or equivalent by experience.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support from concept phase to final virtual validations for the development of mechanical components / systems/ vehicles for Heavy off highway segments.
· Perform structural (linear, nonlinear, dynamic) calculations using FEA tools and hand calculation to interpret critically the analysis results
· Perform advanced fatigue analysis (Time domain, frequency domain) using N-code tool
· Provide design proposals to Engineering team to improve or optimize the structural behavior of components/systems
· Write reports for summarizing the analysis results adhering quality and process
· Innovation / IP / Disclosure knowledge is highly encouraged
· Perform correlation between analytical and experimental results
· Support/develop new FEA analysis/methods to convert physical test / field failures to FEA simulation

ground. It’s a great way to take interest in connectivity and mobile apps, artificial intelligence, and
computer vision, these things that we see in other industries, in automotive, even in the gaming industry,
