As a Wheel Loader Design Product Engineer, you will design new innovative wheel loader products and improve existing current wheel loader products for the Case Construction and New Holland Construction brands manufactured at the Fargo, ND, USA; Lecce, Italy and Belo Horizonte, Brazil manufacturing plants.
- Support design activities for both new and current product wheel loader programs
- Utilize 3D CAD (Creo) for product design and integration
- Utilize Teamcenter as well other tools to support the engineering design and release process and product life management
- Apply proactive engineering tools to communicate the feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer acceptance of designs for new and current products
- Create and support product validation activities with test validation plans and creating test requests
- Drive the commonality of technical solutions across machine sizes and configurations
- Participation in design reviews, DFMEAs, risk assessments and other technical meetings
- Support product development machine builds through all phases of development
- Work in a cross functional team and effectively communicate issues, ideas, concepts and solutions with internal stakeholders and management
- Engage in customer and field experience for Wheel Loader application knowledge
The salary range for this position is $88,000 – $114,500 annually (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Agricultural, or Automotive Engineering
- 3+ years of prior experience in product design, preferably in the construction, agriculture, or off-road industries
- 3+ years of Creo or similar 3D CAD and Teamcenter or similar product life management
- Ability to proactively and collaboratively embrace independent analytical problem solving
- Able to effectively work with multiple facilities, customers, and suppliers from various global locations and cultures
