Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Planning Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. The role’s primary purpose is to ensure the availability of materials at the right time, quantity, and cost to support production demand. This position plays a key role in balancing inventory levels, optimizing supply flows, and maintaining strong collaboration with suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage material requirements planning (MRP) to guarantee availability of components and raw materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring alignment with safety stock, MOQ (minimum order quantity), and lead time requirements.
- Analyze demand forecasts and production plans to generate accurate purchasing requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure timely deliveries, manage shortages, and mitigate supply risks.
- Track and report KPIs such as inventory turnover, service level, and supplier performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
- Act as the link between production, procurement, purchasing, engineering and logistics to ensure end-to-end material flow.
Experience Required
- Experience in material planning, supply chain, procurement, or inventory management.
- Experience managing material flows, demand planning, or supplier coordination.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
