We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Features Manager to lead and oversee the development and deployment of software features within our organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that our development aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, drive feature delivery from concept to release, and collaborate closely with global counterparts to ensure seamless execution. This role exists to bridge the gap between software development, product management, and stakeholders, ensuring the successful launch of high-quality software features.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software features across the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to define feature requirements and timelines.
- Ensure feature development aligns with overall product roadmap and company strategy.
- Monitor and report on feature progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in software feature delivery.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including global counterparts, ensuring alignment on goals, methodologies, and priorities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Ensure that software features comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Motivate, stimulate and drive commonalities, modular architectures and solutions according to the “make it simple” approach
The salary range for this position is $115,000-$169,000 annually (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software development or software feature management or system engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Previous similiar industry experience in construction, AG, automotive, off-road (NRMM) experience.
Preferred:
- Propensity to manage experience, leading teams or projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities, and driving consensus.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing (HIL, unit testing), and software release processes.
- Demonstrated experience in working with global teams and managing international projects.
- A background in industries such as automotive, embedded systems, or consumer electronics is a plus.
- Understanding of system complexity, control algorithm and their main threats for integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
