As a Business Development Leader at CNH Industrial, you will work in a high performing and dynamic corporate development team that drives the future strategy of leading Agricultural brands.
In shaping the future of our business you will support strategic and financial analyses of inorganic initiatives through Mergers & Acquisitions, Venture Capital investments, organic initiatives through investment in new product R&D and procurement strategies, and other strategic analyses. You will get the opportunity to work with a variety of diverse and global businesses and markets within the $15B+ Agriculture Segment and supporting functions across the world.
- Partner with regional and functional leadership to define growth plans and strategies for regional expansion, additional product lines, or new segments or parts of the value chain.
- Lead the end-to-end inorganic growth initiatives including market analysis and idea generation, strategic fit, due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, integration and post-closing issue resolution.
- Develop and refine corporate strategy across businesses to ensure that strategy is synthesized in a concise and easy-to-communicate way within all operations and support functions to drive execution at the business level.
- Build rapport and partnership with key leaders internally (operating leaders and functional leaders) and externally (consultants, investment bankers and other advisors) to execute growth plans.
- Lead Corporate Development Team to perform enterprise level analysis for large projects that span several industries and end markets.
- Lead CNH Venture Capital portfolio Development and provide corporate governance of existing VC investments as Board Advisor.
- Take leadership & provide guidance on the development of strategic and opportunity analysis and actionable insights.
- Lead the cross functional core deal team member, participate in negotiations by leading sub-team evaluation of enterprise position to achieve optimum balance of risk and reward under various acquisition structures and purchase price considerations.
- Lead an agile deal review and approval process; plays a key role in Review and Approval meetings, steering new opportunities, and presenting quantitative and strategic assessment
- Proactively liaises with external advisors such us global investment banks, consulting firms, Legal, Technical and others as needed.
The annual salary for this role is $180,750 – $241,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, finance, engineering or relevant professional experience. MBA preferred, but not required.
- 10 Years + years of experience in Management Consulting or Corporate Development roles.
- Strong leadership skills with particular strengths in the areas of financial modeling, assessing business risk and displaying the ingenuity and perseverance to successfully navigate and complete complicated acquisitions.
- Experience in negotiating complex, multi-cultural agreements leveraging the full M&A toolkit including License, JV and Venture Investments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, high degree of expertise in developing presentations and in persuasive business writing.
- Business acumen in manufacturing, distribution and/or construction operations including experiences in sales, marketing, engineering, multi-unit operations, finance, purchasing, information technology, legal and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional program and project management skills and ability to lead simultaneous multiple projects and proven track-record executing M&A transactions in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Experience managing due diligence process, preparing complex financial models, valuations of target companies, and transaction structure recommendations. Good exposure to / interest in industrial sector Business Development dynamics and issues.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to work in a large, multinational organization including dealing with decentralized resource location.
- Travel approximately 30% with brief periods to 75%.
