Our agricultural business includes the manufacture of combine harvesters, balers, grape harvesters, and of course, multi-purpose tractors with various engine powers. Our presence in the UK includes our headquarters for the New Holland brand in Basildon, and corporate offices in Whitehall, London.
Job Function:
As an Office Administration and Project Management Intern, you will play an integral role in the administration and organisation of our prestigious Whitehall Office where the Global Treasury Headquarters and other functions are located. This is a dynamic role, where you have the opportunity to liaise with senior management and external stakeholders, whilst also gaining a valuable insight into the operations of the Treasury team as a Project Management Officer (PMO). This is a fantastic opportunity for a placement student or recent graduate who is looking to expand their knowledge of finance and project management in a Central London setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration
• Be the first point of contact for executive visitors, delivering exemplary customer service and hospitality.
• Coordinate visits from the Group’s management, corporate board meetings and external visitors.
• Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage all administrative office tasks, including stock control and office services.
Assistant to the Vice President – Treasury
• Calendar management, including scheduling meetings.
• Support with travel arrangements and expense management.
• Facilitate communication and the organization of appointments with internal and external stakeholders.
Project Management Officer (PMO)
• Involvement and support to deliver treasury and finance projects.
• Coordinate project team members.
• Provide administrative support to projects, such as planning meetings and taking minutes.
• Support with monitoring the progress of projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and objectives.
Competencies and key behaviours:
• Currently studying at university or recently graduated.
• Demonstrated interest in finance and project management.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with employees across all levels of the organization, including senior management and external stakeholders.
• Interest and passion to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive and able to use initiative.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Italian is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Experience in using the Microsoft package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Attendance to the Whitehall office up to four times a week.
• Available to start immediately.
