WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As manufacturing operations ICT engineer you are the main point of contact for the user community of our manufacturing, logistic and quality ICT systems, and participate in challenging projects for our production sites.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

After run-in and proper training, your main focus will be on supporting our French production sites in Croix and Coëx, with focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as main ERP system with all surrounding systems, as well as specific on-site projects delivered for manufacturing. Local applications of the Coëx plant are in the scope of this role. Your task will be to understand the business processes and act as an interface between ICT community and our business partners translating new requirements to the supporting ICT teams and suppliers, guaranteeing state of the art, robust and secure systems, in close collaboration with the ICT country leader.

Moreover, as ICT Manufacturing Operations and Site Leadership team we are collaborating with our users in multiple sites on a roadmap for Industry 4.0, AI use cases, Internet-Of-Things, Digitalization, Big Data, and Augmented Reality, that are just a glimpse of the widespread of new technologies we are evaluating – a lot of challenges for motivated potentials.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably a master in ICT or Engineering, or equivalent through experience. Especially important is your strong interest in Manufacturing, Quality and Logistic (Warehouse Management) processes,
• Experience: junior to medio (5 years of experience in a manufacturing and logistic environment), school leavers are welcome,
• Analytical thinking and the will to deliver excellent quality, ability to work independently as an individual, as well as part of a team,
• Social skills, allowing you to integrate flawlessly in a widespread of cultures, countries and backgrounds: Excellent relationship and communication skills,
• Excellent knowledge of the French and English languages is a must,
• While knowledge of MD365 F&O is crucial, additional SAP MFG knowledge is a plus, just as hands-on experience with ERP, MES, WMS software solutions and integration with shop-floor applications (MES and Logistics),
• Prepared to do short business travel on a regular basis between the 2 sites Croix and Coex, and within Europe, this will take at maximum 25% of your time,
• Hands-on experience with database querying (query’s or other reporting tools), programming skills is an asset,
• Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps knowledge is a strong additional asset for potential candidate,
• Good leadership skills, with hands-on skill to coordinate multiple project teams, such as external vendors and internal teams to achieve common result,
• Profound knowledge of the manufacturing processes (with special focus on execution and production planning & control) and warehouse management is an asset.
