The Precision Technology Product Business Lead, is the Global subject matter expert primarily passionate about identifying Customer needs by product line working directly with the Precision Technology Business Owner Team. They will manage product value by communicating priorities and clear messaging to our Development teams and Brand Marketing Groups. Although Product centric, they will be passionate about ensuring that maximum customer value is crafted, enabled by direct access to our Customer groups.
- Global subject matter expert for Precision Technology solutions, cross-Brand, cross-Region and cross–Customer segment.
- Deepen both Customer and Market understanding across CNH by connecting product teams to the market, Customer segments and target personas.
- Provide Product needs and priorities cross customer segment and communicate clear product roadmaps (provided by Technical Product Management).
- Identify and maintain a prioritized Customer Need List for Product area.
- Define and communicate the clear value proposition around product solutions.
- Benchmark competition and consolidate to understand competitive dynamics and messaging.
- Discover and define clear go to market strategies aligned with the business by explaining the why and when working directly with our Strategic Marketing, Brands and Regional teams.
- Shape and communicate how the world thinks about the product providing clear positioning and clear messaging.
- Encourage both internals and externals to tell the story.
- Lead product launch reviews to communicate product information detail to internal collaborators – Brands, Regions, Global Product Platforms (GPP’s) and Aftermarket organizations.
- At Product release, communicate the Marketing positioning canvas – explaining the “What”, the “How” and the “Why does it matter”.
- Enforces customer validation efforts of Product solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business Management, Marketing or relevant field and 6+ years of experience with the sales and support of precision farming and guidance systems, practices and usage of agricultural equipment and working with farmers and dealers.
- Experience working in a product marketing, product management or product development role.
- Experience leading complex tasks with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
The Preferred Candidate will have:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience Agriculture, Agriculture Business Management, Marketing or relevant field. Hands-on experience with agricultural products such as Large Tractors, Combines, Balers, Sprayers, Planters and Tillage Equipment.
- Knowledge of the agricultural products market and customer base globally.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Working knowledge of precision farming & guidance, ISOBUS control, vehicle electronics, cellular and other forms of telecommunication for connected devices, along with mobile applications utilized for machine/fleet optimization.
- Comfortable in embracing change and driven to be part of a winning team.
- A demonstrated passion for driving Precision Agriculture across the industry.

The annual salary for this role is $109,440 – $133,760 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
