Job Purpose
Overseeing Construction Equipment Specific Dealers portfolio and proactively driving profitable sales of parts while ensuring efficient operations within the Parts Department. This includes developing Sales strategies, as Sell-in and Sell-out, maximizing the revenue and maintaining strong Customer relationships and supporting Dealers to manage their inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales revenue and gross margin objectives for assigned territory and each Importer within territory.
- Classify the needs of Markets and share with APAC Marketing Team
- Deliver the Genuine parts and other product initiatives such as, Fleetpro, Attachment, Lubricants, Undercarriage Business plan to ensure achievement of budget and identify all new business growth opportunities with Importers/distributors/dealers.
- Ensure the Network is aware of both Sell-in and Retail promotions and place orders in line with objectives
- Visit Importers/distributors on regular basis to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Implement S&OP processes to improve retail sales.
- Identify training needs for importer/distributor parts personnel and nominate them for suitable trainings to improve their competence
- Monitor territory parts sales performance and provide sales forecast on a timely basis.
- Conduct studies in the marketplace to determine competitor activities and, where appropriate, develop necessary action plans to counter and recover lost Business.
- Plan and execute parts marketing programs in collaboration with APAC Parts Marketing Team to improve CNH/ Importer revenue, profit and market penetration.
- Support market intelligence for corporate parts market development initiatives and competitor pricing benchmark.
- Sustain Dealers inventory to be optimized to provide maximum levels of customer order fill and satisfaction.
- Assist Importers/ customers in resolution of parts shipment and supply related problems.
- To update and train Importers on parts related IT tools and systems (eParts,CSPS, Dealer Portal, SAP, GPS, etc).
- Involve in assessment, appointment and contract renewal of network partners in the territory in collaboration with Network Department.
- High level of collaboration with Regional Parts Sales Managers and APAC Product Marketing Team,
Internal: APAC Parts Marketing and Pricing Team/ APAC DPS Team / Sub-Regions Parts Pricing Teams/SEA Product Support
External: Dealers/Distributors/Customers
Experience Required
- Fluent in English as written and oral
- Excellent Customer centric, problem-solving and Business relationship skills
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and multitasking
- Ability to work independently and by objectives, as well as with a team
- Being proactive, Self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic
- Dynamic and enthusiastic with good communication, negotiation and analytical skills (clear and effective)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Power point) and systems skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business & Marketing Management or Economics.
- Minimum Five-year experience in parts or service Business.
