Job Purpose
Are you ready to reshape logistics across the APAC region? We’re looking for a Logistics Engineer – Improvement, Design and Implementation based in St Marys NSW to drive smarter, more efficient warehouse and logistics solutions across the APAC region.
In this role, you’ll design and deliver innovative warehouse layouts, optimise transport flows and support implementation with local teams to boost capacity, cut costs, and enhance service. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, drive new initiatives, act as the go-to contact for depot operations, and lead continuous improvement across both inbound and outbound logistics.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify warehouse requirements and scope improvements, including racking layouts and profiles
- Review depot operations, develop improvement plans and lead them to completion
- Collect and analyse data to design space-optimised layouts based on demand profiles
- Create part re-slotting files and support operational implementation
- Leverage WMS systems to identify and implement process improvements
- Benchmark operations, design and implement cost-effective automation and material handling systems
- Develop block layouts and prepare Statements of Requirements (SOR) to start RFQs for agreed design and technical evaluation during RFQ and installation
- Manage implementation plans and document redesigned operations
- Support supply chain optimisation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Build KPIs and reporting for transport network cost and performance benchmarking
- Ensure effective coordination across supply chain partners for smooth operations
- Monitor transport KPIs (cost, OTIF/DIFOT) and support strategic planning
- Align with cross-functional APAC teams and report on project status
- Lead and manage diverse projects, including acting as PMO when required
- Engage with warehouse teams to align on strategic outcomes and drive improvements
- Perform ad hoc tasks as directed by management
Experience Required
- Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or similar field, master’s degree is highly regarded
- Green Belt Six Sigma qualified, Black Belt Six Sigma is preferred
- 3+ years in warehouse process improvement, analytics and WMS support
- Proven track record in warehouse/logistics operations and taking ownership of improvements
- Experience in project management, warehouse design/build and WMS superuser implementations is desirable
- Strong communicator with excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
- High business acumen, integrity and creativity
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with a drive to deliver results
- Proficient in MS applications (e.g., Visio Professional, Access, PowerPoint/Word/Excel)
- Hands-on, independent, and self-motivated
- Willing and able to travel frequently across the APAC region
- Fluency in a second language relevant to the APAC region is advantageous
