WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Assistant Branch Manager is accountable for achieving all branch targets by effectively managing resources and assets. This includes the management of personnel, systems, data, and customer goodwill. The role also encompasses strong focus on sales and customer relations, with the aim of delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction at the Case IH Retail branch.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall responsibility and accountability for the management and productivity of the Case IH retail branch
- Achieve set targets for wholegoods- and parts sales; actively contribute to ensure effective sales, marketing and new business development
- Grow market share of the branch
- Manage and oversee customer satisfaction process
- Manage and oversee the achievement of workshop financial- and operational targets
- Manage and achieve financial and administrative efficiencies
- Ensure effective Human Capital management – manage staff compliment of 10 employees
- Ensure effective Asset (Capex) management
- Manage the budget and expenses of the branch
- Oversee the management of branch debtors, creditors, cash sales (parts & workshop) and banking activities
- Oversee stock planning and management together with sales team and parts manager
- Manage the outcomes of regular internal audits
- Various reports required by senior management
- Sales, Business Development & Customer Relationships management:
- Identify, approach and frequently visit existing and potential customers to achieve sales targets
- Present and demonstrate agriculture machines and implements
- Assist customers with finance deals options and structures
- Manage Customer Relations by building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge & technical expertise
- Stay updated on the latest agricultural equipment usage, features and benefits
- Prepare quotations and proposals using SAP, Sales App and Microsoft Office programs
- Calculate profit margins and discounts accurately
