The objective of this position is to develop market for the crop solution products of New Holland Agriculture and Case IH brands and ensure the Top Line. This growth of Crop Solution Business apart from revenue and margins compliments the overall strategy of complete solution provider.
Business:
The position will functionally be responsible for crop solution business growth in short term and long term along with expansion of crop solution portfolio.
The position is also responsible for capitalizing the opportunity existing in market by understanding the solutions available in CNH portfolio and offering the rights products in market.
Will be responsible for the volumes, Company’s market share and would keep a close watch on the competition.
The position will prepare annual business plan for each market and lead the team of Crop solution specialist in various states and would be responsible for defining strategies and activities.
The position will be responsible for annual budgeting, operating expenses and the periodic budgetary reviews etc.
Leadership:
He/ She would provide necessary leadership to the team in all respects for achieving overall business goals in the short term and long term. He would channelize high degree of connect with cross functional teams of crop solution viz product management and Crop solution service.
The Sr. CSS crop solution would expand and develop the dealership network in close relation with CBU Managers/Zonal Manager for scale up of Business. The position would keep itself updated about latest products/ variants / pricing.

The position is expected to have a high level of Knowledge of Crops, Agronomy, Applications and Commercial viability of all Equipment.
Need to have appetite to develop market through strong leadership drive, with appropriate business development actions in short and long term.
The Sr. Crop Solution Specialist would develop meaningful collaborations with management of Sugar mills/ Dairies/ Senior officials of Govt/ Seed and agricultural companies, to build long term relationship for business strengthening.
Major Accountabilities:
Primary and Secondary duties: Business Development Crop Solution:
· Market Developments
ü Identify the Potential Markets/ Products/Applications.
ü To ensure availability of proper Channel or network to cover CS business potential
ü Prepare short term (annual) and long-term business plan
ü Coordinate with respective State CSS / CBU Managers/Zonal Manager for making strategy of demand creation
ü Monitor or support the demand generation initiatives (ATL, BTL or Digital initiatives)
ü Keep Close connect with corporate or institutions (Sugar Mills, Dairies, Govt departments, seed companies)
· Business Strategy:
ü Prepare Annual Sales plan and to Achieve sales target overall for zone and sate wise
ü Conduct detailed competition analysis, market share mapping and formulation of Zonal strategy to enhance CS business.
ü Understanding of future requirements of CS products and coordination with Product marketing team to ensure right product coverage.
ü Liasion with Senior Govt officials (Agriculture officials).
ü Enhancing dealer’s profitability through CS business
ü Enhancing zonal profitability, to ensure Zonal CS demands are accomplished.
ü Achieve revenue Targets for states and zone.
ü Coordinate with major NBFC/Nationalized banks to resolve all financing issues
ü Report Sales and market activity/ enquiry to Business Head – CS
· Business Promotion Strategy:
ü Keep updated of new product developments
ü Commercial Training to CSS, CBU team / Dealer and Dealer team on crop solution products.
ü Market positioning of various products in the relevant markets in coordination with product management team.
Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:
1. Will need to possess high level of managerial skills as must manage many stake -holders state CSS, Dealers, Institutions, Govt departments
2. Manage teams thru Mentoring, Guiding and leading to achieve their goals.
3. Build High Morale of team and always maintain the discipline.
Education
B.Tech (Agri.Engg./Mechanical Engg) or Equivalent
Professional Qualification
Preferably an M.Tech/MBA
Experience
Minimum 18 years of experience in Agricultural, Tractor/Farm equipment industry
Language(s)
Proficiency in English.
