The Field Technical Specialist – AG Hay Products ensures equipment productivity and uptime by troubleshooting complex technical issues with root cause problem solving skills to resolve.
This position is a field position with candidates ideally located in the state of Pennsylvania with travel within the Eastern US and Eastern Canada.
- Primary “In-Field” technical expert for assigned product lines
- Dealer support for complex, technical & developing product issues
- Identification and clear communication to escalate developing technical issues
- Clearly researched and dimensioned problem statements
- Support person for escalation, prioritization, and speed of resolution
- Identification and execution of in-field containment solutions
- Technical Help Desk (THD) Escalation Support
- Level 2 escalation support of THD during seasonal volume peaks
- Participate on Early Warning Teams
- Support Product Improvement Program (PIP) development and execution
- Consult to region brand teams as required for Customer Visits and Customer Satisfaction measurements
Annual base salary range for this role is $74,625 – $109,450 USD. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience working with heavy equipment including technical knowledge and understanding of equipment business industry or AG specific product knowledge OR
- Associates Degree and 7+ years of experience working with heavy equipment including technical knowledge and understanding of equipment business industry or AG specific product knowledge.
- At least one year of daily working experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel within North America up to 65%. Ability to obtain a passport for travel to Canada is required.
