Job Purpose
Development and delivery of training and training materials.
Work is primarily achieved by an individual or through project teams; requiring application of expertise in professional area(s) to achieve results. Progression within classification is reflected by increasing depth of professional knowledge, projectmanagement, and ability to influence others.
Key Responsibilities
Analyzes of course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for
improvements.
Assesses the needs and gaps regarding incumbent skill, knowledge and performance.
Develops appropriate training aids.
Preparation of lesson plans relevant to training material.
Administer training records to ensure that incumbents have met all training requirements for company and regulatory
compliance.
Develops training program material, which may include manuals, handouts, tests, and designs exercises to apply knowledge of
the subject matter.
Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced level professional providing professional input to complex assignments / projects, providing direction to more junior professionals, while working independently receiving guidance in only the most complex situations.
Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.

2) Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.
Knowledge & Application
1) Advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function.
Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines, directs the application of existing principles and guides
development of new policies and ideas.
Problem Solving
Implementation of solutions often requires a longer term view, based on limited information, and take into consideration
multiple perspectives and future implications.
1) Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
Interaction
2) Adapts style and uses persuasion in delivering messages on complex issues where audience perspectives will be divergent.
3) Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
