Job Purpose

• Credit and risk management of the India retail loans for CE portfolio.
• Retail underwriting and portfolio management.
• Review of Credit policy & guidelines and drive adherence to the policy with all relevant teams.
• Manage various stakeholders – internal i.e. credit, sales, and collections and external i.e. customers, vendors, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate credit proposals for retail and strategic customers for Agriculture & Construction Equipment Financing.
• Support wholesale underwriting team in credit assessment of dealers. 
• Analysis and evaluation of financials statements.
• Interaction with Strategic Customers & understanding of the business & explore business opportunities.
• Responsible for customer and dealer visits and sharing market information and feedback with other team members.
• Responsible for the application process from login to approval.
• Responsible for turnaround time management.
• Monitoring of portfolio quality and Delinquencies with collections & Sales team for weekly/monthly reviews.
• Monitoring of regular credit control meetings.
• Preparation of MIS – multiple reports for weekly and monthly flash.
• Policy reviews basis industry & market feedback.
• Ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulations.

Experience Required

• Strong understanding of credit underwriting, risk management, and related processes.
• Experience in construction equipment finance or SME / MSME sectors.
• Expertise in understanding of bureau/Credit reports.
• Expertise in Data reporting, stratification, segmentation, and Analysis.
• Exposure to Captive finance especially in Agriculture and Construction segments would be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with various stakeholders. 
• Understanding of overall NBFC business and its functions
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Ability to work under pressure, work independently and proactively. 
• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant/Master’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related fields
• Language Requirement(s): English
