Financial Services India – CFO/Country Finance Manager 

The position oversees all financial aspects related to the India Financial Services company, reporting to the financial services CFO for the APAC region.

–     Lead financial and commercial management of the business providing a robust controls environment as a platform for partnering with management on business performance.

–     Responsible for financial controls and coordination, strategic planning, financial planning & analysis, accounting, business reporting, regulatory reporting, tax planning, internal controls, and Finance systems accuracy.

–     Responsible for financial information delivery to the Regional Financial Services CFO, the Managing Director, the company Board of Directors and to external parties such as local regulatory and tax authorities, external auditors, etc.

Principal Accountabilities:

Responsible for the overall control of Financial Services India company:

(1) Accounting

(2) Financial Planning & Analysis

(3) RBI reporting

(4) statutory reporting

(5) Business reporting

(6) Pricing

(7) Direct and Indirect taxes

·       Ongoing financial advice to the Managing Director, Board of Directors and Financial Services Regional and Global Management.

·       Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audits

·       Formulates financial targets, Strategic Business Plans, budgets and forecasts in accordance with the strategy determined by the board and/or Financial Services Global/Regional CFO

·       Corporate finance: manages local company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, required CNHI Global company reporting

·       Responsible regulatory financial requirements of relevant statutory bodies are met

·       Regulates and implements a timely, full and accurate set of accounting books of the entity reflecting all its activities in a manner commensurate with the relevant legislation/regulations and subject to internal deadlines set by the CNHI Global CFO

·       Ensures completion of the legal entity results – local Indian accounting standards

·       Global/Corporate Reporting and compliance – US and IFRS GAAP

·       Responsible for accurate and timely completion of statutory reporting and tax returns

·       Coordinates the implementation and ensures adherence to CNHI accounting policies

·       Ensures Policies and Procedures are documented, SOX compliant and followed

·       Management of internal control framework for financial reporting and DOA adherence

·       Supports the Managing Director in improving the company’s ROE by focusing on reductions in the cost of capital, higher returns on financial investments and prudent management of financial risks

·       Responsible for reporting to external funding parties (banks, Trusts, etc.)

·       Ensure CNHI Global tax strategy is implemented accurately, consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and ethical standards

·       Collaborate with Treasury to ensure any Funding facilities are set-up efficiently to meet accounting and business requirements

·       Support the Regional Financial Services APAC CFO as required, and be an influential contributor in the regional Finance team

CNHI Capital APAC Region:

§ Receivables Portfolio of ~$2.3 billion, revenues in excess of $190 million, annual profit before taxes of ~$40 million

§ Annual retail originations in excess of $600 million, wholesale originations over $2.2 billion

CNHI Capital India:

§ Receivables Portfolio of ~$230 million, revenues ~ $30 million, annual profit before axes of ~$9 million

§ Annual retail originations in excess of $85 million, wholesale originations over $380 million

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language:

·       Bachelor Degree required, Accounting, Finance, Business or related area

·       CPA, CMA, MBA and/or CFA is preferable

·       10+ years relevant experience in financial services sector (e.g. Banks, NBFC companies, big four accounting firms) covering a variety of diverse finance and/or accounting positions

·       Financial product knowledge including management and control of costs and pricing

·       Wholesale & Retail financing knowledge including understanding of equipment financing

·       Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS/US GAAP Accounting Principles & SOX Requirements

·       Results oriented with strong integrity and honesty

·       Ability to cross-functionally lead and communicate effectively (oral and written) with all levels of management in a large, international, matrix organization

·       Demonstrated passion, energy, drive and work ethic

·       Demonstrated leadership skills, abilities and competencies as evidenced by record of increasing responsibility
