WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
CNH, a global player in agricultural and construction machinery, is looking for a motivated employee within the Zedelgem Plant Engineering department.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Plant Engineering department consists of about 8 employees and is responsible for a wide range of tasks: construction of new buildings with all techniques, environmental works, designing and setting up workshops, HVAC, material handling (overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.), data networks, Building Management System, energy supplies and energy management, waste processing, etc., in a plant of 37 hectares.
In this job, you will work with colleagues and be responsible for:
- Preparing and executing small and medium-sized projects in terms of new and modifications/extensions of workshop setups (various installations in a production environment, technical installations, buildings), utilities, and energy supplies for buildings.
- Managing, coordinating, designing, and implementing new or modified material handling equipment, such as conveyors, manipulators, lift tables, assembly platforms, AGVs, and forklifts.
- Developing and implementing cost control programs to achieve the set objectives.
- Monitoring and managing all statutory periodic inspections of handling equipment, low and high voltage panels.
- Drawing/maintaining office and factory layouts.
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics (or electricity) – we also welcome candidates with limited work experience.
- Perfect knowledge of Dutch.
- An intrinsic motivation to learn and implement new processes/systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Creative in problem-solving.
- Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Knowledge of electricity is an advantage.
- Competent in quickly integrating into production processes and collaborating with others to identify opportunities.
