In Precision Electronics Product Development, we make iron smarter. From vehicle displays, application controls, steering solutions, digital services and telematics, to fully autonomous driverless technology, we develop solutions that solve challenges for customers around the world.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be besponsible for ensuring overall form, fit, and function of new vehicle systems into a single complete system.
- Responsible for executing system engineering best practices.
- Define and maintain product level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
- Work closely with architectural team to ensure maximum component scalability and modularity.
- Understand intended product end user needs.
- Assist in defining product vision and roadmap.
- Translate stakeholder needs to product requirements.
- Define system level features and decompose those requirements into individual subsystem definitions and requirements.
- Work across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams to coordinate system definition, design, and integration.
- Responsible for individual product design alignment with multi-product architectural strategy.
- Ensure product aligns with applicable standards.
- Work with product verification and validation to ensure system and components perform as needed.
This position pays: $105,750 – $141,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field with 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience in off highway automation and/or autonomy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with off highway vehicle electronics.
- Strong experience with agricultural practices and operations.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership staff.
