Job Purpose

The position reports to the General Manager and the purpose is effective retail process management to drive annual retails per business plan targets and CE’s strategic objectives, and providing direction and support to CASE Sales Reps towards achievement of results.  Develops, manages, and maintains strong relationships with account customers to acquire needs and requirements, ensure their satisfaction, maximizing business opportunities and revenue from these key accounts through promotion of our company’s products and integrated solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

Achieve annual retail target

  • Manage the retail process and drive annual retails per business plan targets and marketing CE’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage implementation of the commercial policy, financial support, marketing campaigns, and target retail initiatives.
  • Manage sales of integrated package solutions including, extended warranty, and paid maintenance to maximize revenue per customer account.
  • Monitor retail performance per KPI metrics and participate in weekly sales meetings to agree corrective actions to achieve targets.
  • Participate in marketing action plan calendar events to optimize leads generation and to drive retails and market share growth.
  • Perform scheduled customer visits to support Sales Reps with product offering and to close deals.
  • Perform weekly retail reviews and provide input for update of the retail pipeline tracking document for compiling of best estimate reports.

 

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders

  • Review the quality of leads and social media lead generation campaigns with marketing for target reframing and actions.
  • Review stock reports vs. retail pipeline with operations administration for required production and supply pipeline adjustments.
  • Review ageing inventory reports with operations administration and drive retail activities and target initiatives to reduce stock.
  • Manage customer satisfaction measured by NPS (Net Promoter Score) and promoting service excellence.
  • Manage the link of communication between customers, departments, internal teams, and service operations.

 

Conduct and maintain competitive intelligence (market research)

  • Monitor market trends and perform competitive analysis to ensure a competitive price position.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with account customers to acquire needs and future requirements.
  • Perform product analysis and specification reviews towards input for developing products for the market.

 

Human Capital Management

  • Mentor, coach and support Sales Reps to drive retails through effective conversion of prospects. 

Experience Required

  • 5 – 10 years: Equipment Sales & Marketing experience including;
  • People management
  • Technical understanding
  • Dealing with customers and providing integrated solutions
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office 365 / Excel / Word / PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • IIM Marketing diploma/National Sales Diploma or National Diploma or equivalent Business School Certificate in Marketing, Sales, or Engineering.
  • BComm degree/Financial diploma (Advantegous)
