The Field Technical Specialist ensures equipment productivity and uptime by troubleshooting complex technical issues with root cause problem solving skills to resolve.

 

Ideal candidate must be located in southern California or Arizona. Ideal location will be Scottsdale, AZ. 

  • Primary “In-Field” technical expert for assigned product lines
  • Dealer support for complex, technical & developing product issues
  • Identification and clear communication to escalate developing technical issues
  • Clearly researched and dimensioned problem statements
  • Support person for escalation, prioritization, and speed of resolution
  • Identification and execution of in-field containment solutions
  • Technical Help Desk (THD) Escalation Support
    • Level 2 escalation support of THD during seasonal volume peaks
  • Participate on Early Warning Teams
  • Support Product Improvement Program (PIP) development and execution
  • Consult to region brand teams as required for Customer Visits and Customer Satisfaction measurements
  • Service Policy Administration

 

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Associates Degree
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of equipment business industry or desired specific product knowledge earned through 5+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 65%

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-Starter with excellent technical problem-solving abilities and a proven track record for performing well in a fast-paced dynamic work environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Ability to be flexible and resilient
  • Strong computer skills, negotiation skills, ability to prioritize, good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop customer and market insights
  • Proven experience effectively delivering impactful projects in fast-moving environment with ability to influence all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Experience with Electronic Service Tools
  • Experience of Dealership Service Departments

The annual salary for this role is $75,000 – $107,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
