Kick-start your HR career with CNH! We’re looking for an ambitious HR Intern to join our dynamic team in Basildon.
You’ll gain real-world experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, helping implement training initiatives, fleet management, and HR projects. Working closely with our HR Advisors, Directors, and Managers, you’ll also contribute to manufacturing and employee relations activities.

This internship is your chance to build essential HR skills, expand your professional network, and explore exciting career opportunities in a fast-paced, global company. This internship starts as 1-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend for a second year.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration:
• Support HR activities for Manufacturing and Employee Relations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process HR paperwork.
• Administer the Time & Attendance (T&A) system.
• Provide first-line HR support, responding to employee queries.
• Assist with projects like organising intern assessment and induction days.
Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle:
• Manage the full recruitment process for interns, from job postings to interviews.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Support employee engagement and rewards initiatives.
Training & Development:
• Administer the online Learning Management System.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with providers for course bookings.
• Maintain training records and ensure proper documentation.
Fleet & Compliance Management:
• Manage corporate fleet processes, including fuel card orders and mileage reporting.
• Update the Motor Insurance Database and driver license monitoring.
• Administer the tracker portal and fine management processes.
• Conduct new car inductions when required.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• Studying or holding a degree in HR, Business, or related fields (other degrees considered).
• HR experience preferred; CIPD qualification is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, adaptable, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about HR excellence and managing workloads effectively.
• Ability to advise managers on HR policies and processes.
