WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The position will report to the General Manager and develops, manages, and maintains relationships with current and future strategic key account and rental customers to identify needs and requirements, ensure their satisfaction, maximizing business opportunities and revenue from these key accounts through promotion of our company’s products and integrated solutions. The position is responsible for the KAM program including equipment rental solutions to create long term relationships, build and increase trust, meet growth and retention goals, develop consistent and repeatable process, and achieve business plan targets through professional consultative selling of rental contracts, new equipment, attachments, extended warranty, and paid maintenance options, with revenue, profit, and loss metrics per business plan and KPIs

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Account Sales

  • Manage implementation of a KAM Program that aligns with our long-term goals and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Manage development of trust relationships with a portfolio of strategic customers to acquire needs and requirements.
  • Manage key account and support plans to generate new key account sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Manage increasing of value through product offerings and available integrated package solutions including, finance, rental, extended warranty, and paid maintenance to maximize revenue per key customer account.
  • Manage the link of communication between key account customers, departments, internal teams, and virtual branches.
  • Manage effective co-ordination and communication of KAM Program, marketing campaigns, sales, and service promotions.
  • Manage key account customer satisfaction measured by NPS (Net Promoter Score) and promoting service excellence.
  • Compiling and submitting of weekly and monthly sales reports on revenue, profit, and key account KPIs.

Equipment Rental Sales

  • Manage rental sales and agreements, adjust pricing for rental periods to balance demand and profitability.
  • Manage rental inventory utilization, effective application, and maximizing the potential of available stock.
  • Manage rental fleet units, inspection schedules, calculations of rental amounts and monthly invoicing.
  • Manage collaboration with connect services for timeous service and maintenance schedules to avoid costly breakdowns and maximize profit margins.
  • Manage rental units, lifecycle, selling older, less profitable units and replacing with new to maintain the ROI.
  • Manage revenue per rental customer, increasing the value through upselling, or offering additional services.
  • Manage rental customer satisfaction measured by NPS (Net Promoter Score) and promoting service excellence.

Compiling and submitting of weekly and monthly sales reports on revenue, profit and rental KPIs.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience Required:

Essential

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office 365 / Excel / Word / PowerPoint).
  • 3 – 5 years compact and heavy line construction equipment sales.
  • B2B, key account manager or national account manager experience and providing integrated solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong operational, process, time management and administrative skills.
  • Negotiation, listening, communication (English written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

Advantage / Optional

  • ERP Systems experience / SAP.
  • Strong CRM understanding.

Education/qualifications required:

Essential

  • BSc/BA in business administration in relevant field.
  • or National Diploma or equivalent Business School Certificate in Marketing, Sales, or Engineering.

Advantage / Optional

  • Secondary studies that include business administration.
