Sales and Marketing
Role Purpose:
The Marcom and Marketing Services role focuses on developing and executing marketing communications strategies, creating engaging content, managing campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels, while also supporting marketing services activities.
The role requires a unique blend of marketing proficiency, leadership acumen and the capability to implement impactful marketing campaigns in a dynamic market environment by developing and implementing effective marketing communication strategies and support marketing services activities to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve business objectives.
Major Accountabilities:
Primary and Secondary duties:
Marketing Communications:
· Develop and execute marketing communications plans and strategies.
· Create engaging and compelling content for various channels (e.g., social media, website, email, print).
· Manage and optimize social media presence and engagement.
· Coordinate with design teams and external agencies to produce marketing materials.
· Track and analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with the sales, after sales, marketing, and dealers’ team to create and disseminate compelling and localized marketing content, such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and webinars.
· Conceptulize, develop, manage regularity and consistency and inclusivity of internal communication through the relevant tools and methods.
Marketing Services:
· Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
· Support field marketing activities to achieve lead generation in line with sales targets and opportunities in the marketplace aligned with business requirements.
· Assist in planning and executing events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
· Manage and maintain marketing collateral and resources in relevant languages
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
· Coordinate and drive marketing Process automation along with IT teams, test and train the users, ensure usage of new tools and measure performance.
· Provide support to After Market Solutions to develop and disseminate communication
Brand Management:
· Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
· Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
· Assist to create messaging and collaterals for CSR initiatives along with stakeholders in the system.
· Champion the marketing policies and SoPs to ensure adherence and compliances.
· Champion the Risk & Compliances are adhered to for the marketing function. Coordinate to Facilitate the regular audits with the stakeholders.
Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, vendors, agencies, and industry influencers.
2. Provide regular reports and updates on marketing activities, results, and forecasts to the management team.
3. Collaborate with sales & aftersales teams to develop and execute targeted account-based marketing campaigns.
4. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies to continuously improve regional marketing strategies.
5. Support channel partners with marketing collateral, training, and co-marketing programs to drive sales.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s):
Education/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in marketing / business administration / Communication.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a Marcom & Marketing Services role.
3. Experience in the Construction Equipment / Commercial Vehicle industry or B2B marketing is preferred.
