The Training Content Developer will develop comprehensive training course materials in support of Agriculture brands for dealer service technicians, field personnel and internal company personnel. This includes technical service training as well as operational, sales, and product application training. They will work in a team environment to develop diverse training curriculum on assigned products including all support materials, while maintaining a professional training environment. Communicate with Technical Support, Quality, Product Management, Sales, Marketing and field personnel to identify training needs/issues to achieve holistic product support and business training objectives.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work model and can be located in Racine, WI or Ames, IA.
- Develop comprehensive training courses including technical, operational, sales, and product application training for dealer service technicians, sales personnel, field personnel and internal company personnel.
- Design & develop comprehensive training support materials for current and future product launches.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure training materials are developed and ready for all new product introductions.
- Deliver various training courses to global training staff to ensure common facilitation strategies and materials are being used across all training types.
- Assist other product support areas (Technical Support and Technical Publications) as required.
- Ensure training courses and materials meet department guidelines including pre-post testing and standard course evaluations.
- Deliver various training courses (technical, operational, sales, product) based on the material created.
- Work at offsite locations to present localized training. (Approximately 20% of the time).
Annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 – $112,000 USD. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
The qualified candidate will have:
- Associates Degree and a minimum of three years of mechanical and training experience OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of mechanical and training experience
- 1+ years of customer support experience
- Ability to travel up to 20% within North America
The ideal candidate will have:
- Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
