Job Purpose
This position will be responsible for souring of Chemical Commodity Parts (Tires, Lubes, Paints, FRP\Roto \Injection molded parts, Mirrors, Adhesives & Sealants, Fuel Filters, Driver Seat, Imports Etc.
This position is critical as taking care of all new developments, Commercial settlement, Cost reduction, etc. which requires close co-ordination with different stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Strategy for Chemical Commodity Parts
- New Parts Development
- MIS Creation & Reporting
- Commodity Budget Preparation & Adherence
- Continuous Cost reduction to ensure budgeted targets
- Commercial settlements & PO amendment in case of Inflation/Deflation
- Maintain and improve the relationship with key Suppliers
- New Sources Identification & Introduction
Experience Required
- 12~18 years of experience in Automotive/ Industrial industry preferred
- Experienced in sourcing, quality, costing, stakeholder management, team management, integrated supply chain, etc.
- Understanding of supplier base, process knowledge, zero base costing/cost analysis & basic financial knowledge
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, change management and negotiation skills along with global sourcing experience
- MIS/Budget Preparation
- System knowledge of ERP like SAP / LN etc.; & relevant purchasing systems
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / Graduate Mechanical Engineer
