Job Purpose
Drive the overall program planning working closely with Chief Engineering and Product Management coordinating the product road map, requirements and technical solutions executing through robust validation into production and delivery to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Platform and Programs investments: R&D, NRE, vendor tooling, material cost, manufacturing investments.
- Communicate program status, key decisions, and risks to management.
- Monitor and steer the execution of the program according to the targets.
- Manage expectations across all stakeholders, work collaboratively to find solutions to open issues and continually push for improvements and new opportunities.
- Actively promote alternative approaches, non-linear thinking and challenge the status quo in pursuit of improvements in process, collaboration and working methods.
- Suppliers Orders: “RdA” and “RdC” management for Product Development department, collaboration with Purchasing to collect required info and to get the PO release.
- Accounts Receivable Invoicing process: to require feedback from Suppliers and Product Development Functions.
- Budget planning and management by cost centers and work tasks.
Experience Required
- At least 5 years of working experience in product development with demonstrable project management acumen. Commercial vehicle and automotive product development experience beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical)
- English fluent written and spoken
- Collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office
