As the Product Manager for Cotton and Heads you will be responsible for achieving profit objectives (gross margins) and share of market for assigned product line. Collaborate with teams across the North America region to lead strategy by collecting and consolidating customer requirements worldwide contributing to Brand strategy definition. Communicate with Platforms/Product Development and ensure brand’s request is fulfilled. Manage and monitor product and program launches to drive product profitability (gross margins) and share of market.
- Manage products (Crop Harvesting Cotton and Heads) through life cycle and ensure that they stay competitive and successful in the market place achieving brands turnover, profitability and share objectives.
- Collect and consolidate the product requirements of the in the various commercial regions and provide platforms with product requirements in a clear, single voice aligned with the brand strategy. He/she will ensure success of new product launches and deliver support to each commercial region.
- Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure progress is made on projects and is aligned with Brand request.
- Collaborate across regional markets to support and drive sell through activities, which may require bursts of high travel time periods, including some international travel.
- Full understanding of competitive environment.
- Analyze, develop, and propose segment volumes and share forecasts based on development plans of managed products.
- Collect price input and business assumptions from regions and markets to support the programs.
- Manage Product Development trade-offs between time, cost, and brand priority.
- At launch, ensure proper support and coordination of market activities: Ramp-up and unit availability, Communication and promotion material, Product and sales training/materials, Parts and After sales
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Economics, General Business or closely related field of study, plus eight (8) years relevant professional experience.
- Experience managing profit & loss targets, turnaround or business start-up initiatives, plus global/international experience.
- Project management experience, strong analytical, organization skills and passion for the Ag business.
- In-depth technical machine knowledge of Cotton and Crop Harvesting equipment and operation.
- Demonstrate a dedication to customer service, the initiative to deliver results, be comfortable communicating across functions and be an encouraging member of the team.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Advanced communication and presentation abilities required.
- Preferred candidates will demonstrate ability to think outside the box and embrace challenges as opportunities.

The annual salary for this role is $119,250 – $159,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
